a zine-based artistic inquiry that engages contemporary debates on higher education and the metacrisis through Sharon Stein and Vanessa de Oliveira Andreotti's metaphor of the nurse log: a fallen tree that sustains future life by decomposing within the forest ecosystem. The zine brings together concepts from anti-colonial, abolitionist, and relational knowledge. Nurse log university is an invitation to sit with uncertainty, complicity, and possibility together. What grows from here is not predetermined and the seeds we sow now will influence what comes next.
